The Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) at Techno College Hooghly
operates strictly under statutory regulations set forth by the
University Grants Commission (UGC) and Maulana Abul Kalam Azad
University of Technology (MAKAUT) to foster a fair, safe, and
transparent environment for students, faculty, and non-teaching staff.
The committee provides an institutional mechanism for receiving,
examining, and resolving grievances in a structured, confidential,
and time-bound manner.
Scope of Grievances
The committee addresses a wide array of campus-related concerns,
including but not limited to:
- Academic disputes
- Evaluation-related issues
- Administrative delays
- Infrastructure maintenance
- Library or laboratory facilities
- Interpersonal conflicts
- Discrimination-related grievances
Grievance Redressal Process
Every complaint undergoes the following structured four-step process:

Formal Logging: The grievance is formally received and recorded immediately. |
Step 2 |
Preliminary Investigation: The committee conducts an initial review and verifies the facts and documents related to the complaint. |
Step 3 |
Stakeholder Hearing: The concerned parties are given an opportunity to present their views and supporting information. |
Step 4 |
Final Redressal: The committee communicates its decision, recommendation, or corrective action to the concerned stakeholder. |
Resolution Timeline: Final redressal is to be completed within a mandatory timeline of 15 working days, while ensuring complete confidentiality
throughout the grievance-handling process.
How to Lodge a Grievance
Physical Submission |

Grievances may also be lodged digitally through the institution's official website portal. |
All grievances are handled with due confidentiality and are reviewed
only by the appropriate institutional authorities and committee members.
